Brief Bio and Notes for Zoe:   Singer, Actor, Song Writer

November 2009 will see the release of Zoe’s new music video for “Love Me or Hate Me” which she wrote with Eddie G (Eddie Galan) & Steven "Stizzle" Schneider for Mach 1 Music.  Eddie G is a 17x Platinum Songwriter/Producer  who works with Aaron Carter, Mitchel Musso, Clique Girlz and more.   “Working with Eddie G has been fantastic,” says Zoe.  “He’s had his hand in so many albums—like High School Musical--and guided so many careers.”

“Love Me or Hate Me” is a song that comes straight from the heart, according to Zoe.  “Whether they know you or not, people are so quick to judge you,” she explains.  “There are some people who will love me not matter what I do—and some people who will hate me, no matter what I do.  To me, life is too short to spend on hating others.”

Myers and Mach 1 Music will also be releasing “Ride the Stars,” a song that celebrates the freedom of love.  These two songs will be a departure from Zoe's usual pop rock genre, with a clubbier dance beat.   “I’m slowly teaching myself how to play the guitar,” confides Zoe.  “I’d love to be able to sing and play for some of my new songs, when I’m not dancing!”    Zoe recently signed a sponsorship agreement with Daisy Rock Guitars.  She chose a hot pink electric guitar covered in sparkles.  “I knew I wanted the sparkles, but I was torn between the pink and the black.  I guess I’ll always love pink!”

Zoe recorded a single (“All out of Love”) for the feature film, "Utopian Society" for Warner Brothers and Polyphonic Records.  She wrote “Robot Boy” and “Mirror” with the creative team at The Song Factory.  The song “Mirror” was chosen as a finalist at the Feel Good Film Festival at The Egyptian Hotel in Hollywood.  The music video for “Mirror” won a 2009 Award Of Merit/TV from The Accolade.

Zoe says, “I’m really honored that Accolade recognized one of my music videos.  Getting in to any film festival is a big deal, but it’s even harder for a music video because it usually has to compete against short films.”

“Mirror” was also accepted in to the Peachtree Village International Film Festival at Underground Atlanta and the Woodruff Arts Center.  Both “Mirror” and “Robot Boy” music videos passed a three round screening process and are now an “Official Selection” of the 2009 INDIE FEST USA at Downtown Disney.

Zoe just wrapped shooting 6 episodes for a new web TV series that she co-wrote called My Mother/Agent, which can best be described as a mix between “Pushing Daisies,”  “The Office” and “Sabrina the Teenage Witch.”  The webisodes will feature original music, dancers and models, focusing on talents primarily from the south.  One of the first episodes will feature the world debut of Zoe’s new song “Gossip” co-written with Steve Mesropian.  “Although ‘Gossip’ is a new song, it’s very pop/rock like Robot Boy,” explains Zoe.  “Most of my new material has a different sound and is more danceable.”  “My Mother/Agent” will premiere online this fall.  For more information, visit www.MyMotherAgent.com.

Zoe has performed for all kinds of audiences, both as a track singer and front for a live pop rock band.   She began her singing career in regional musical theatre with roles including Belle, Cinderella, and Sandy before moving to Los Angeles.  Performances span from coast to coast, including charity events in the O.C. as well as at the Towne Lake Arts Center in Georgia.  She has performed at fairs, festivals and for school shows.  She opened for The Jonas Brothers with her band “Stained Pink” at the Rock-n-Fashion Show.

When she’s not performing or in rehearsal, Zoe enjoys working out, writing and just hanging out with friends.  Zoe is originally from Georgia, but now resides in the LA area with her adorable Maltese, “Dodger!"
